About Us

Rural Development Services (PRDS) Trust

Since(31-Dec-2010) Provides access to resources to all sections of society and helps in the upliftment of weaker groups of people while increasing the number of opportunities available to them.

Rehabilitating and providing education, shelter and food to economically backward, child laborers, disabled, orphans and semi-orphans. Sensitizing destitute, women in distress and adolescent girls for their rights & entitlements. Promoting Women Farmer Producers Companies Enlightening and educating the indigenous people and remote rural masses. Spreading awareness among the public on health & sanitation, education, environment, consumer rights and other socio-economic rights particularly Human rights. Spread awareness about epidemics like TB, Malaria and conduct medical health camps for the remote rural areas. Encouraging sustainable agricultural development and organic farming. Establishing unity, integrity and communal harmony. Encouraging rural masses and slum dwellers to own their shelters. Helping persons with disabilities.

a) We work to develop involvement & concerns of all sections of people on the vital issues of change. b) We work for and focus on infrastructure development and public initiative to create community assets for a sustainable future. c) We undertake to create and provide them with all possible opportunities to access through awareness, non-formal education by supporting them to learn employable skills and confidence. d) We collaborate with Panchayat Raj and other democratic communities based as well as Civil Society Organizations, in their efforts towards our objectives, and provide all possible assistance to them.

Training To The Board Of Directors of Women Farmers Programmes

Training is given to board of directors of NGOs to promote women farming organisations in the hope that this would help them support their needs and meet their goals to a better extent.

Awareness Camps

Camps are conducted in regards to health awareness for children in areas such as slums and schools of Chinthamani Taluk with the Chintamani NGO consortium's collaboration about awareness on topics such as personal hygiene and cleanliness. Other training programmes are also conducted for village volunteers including youth from the Chinthamani Taluk and training is given to them on aspects such as leadership and socials security schemes.

Promotion Of Women Farmers Producers Organisation

Organised meetings with communities in general and women in particular to motivate them to the shareholders and develop their own businesses and market for their products. Also organised an exposure visit and training and assistance programmes for women farmers.

Rural Assistance and Community Development

The major focus our activities includes a variety of interventions in the rural development we concentrated on Women Empowerment, Education, Health, Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation. Other activities includes kill building, livelihood enhancement, Savings and Credit, Land productivity enhancement and rural employment. PRDS has promoted a Women Farmers Producers Company on Animal Husbandry.
